Haha...thoughts on Hornet. It will be complete in 8-10 years.

Yes I’m quite disappointed by the hornet...18 months after early release and still no A2G radar nor TWS. As well the bug that requires direct hits from heavy ordnance is still present: seriously, a 1000 lb Bomb landing 500 ft away doesn’t destroy a truck? I need a direct hit? Seriously??

Don't forget no INS, No RWR programing, limited chaff and flares, crappy pilot model, fucked up netcode again, limited HARM, TGP, etc etc...8 years before it is finished if they are going to do a complete hornet.

How hard is it to port over the INS and RWR stuff from the tomcat?

First I would guess that it doesn't belong to ED and second they would be different systems so just porting them would not make it a true simulator.

Saw a post a longtime ago that Heatblur doesn’t do their coding in lua files, so it’s compiled and likely not available to ED. Don’t know the 3rd party terms both companies have but I’d be surprised if Heatblur doesn’t get to keep their intellectual property secret.
