  • IVC voice recording now possible

Sample video I did yesterday. My voice is low, so I need to adjust that.

    Windows® 10 Home Premium | 64bit, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700 CPU @ 3.20GHz (Cores 6) (Logical/Core 2) | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB | 1 X 1TB SSD | 1 X 275GB SSD | Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio sound card | 16GB Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1333MHz | Oculus Rift S

I'll be testing this via OBS LiveStream to YouTube tonight.

Works very well, but for some reason my voice volume is quite low.

I had to boost my OBS mic pickup for some reason .... might be similar in your case.

BTW .... if anyone is wondering .... when I LiveStream it's set to 'Private' no it's not actually viewable 'live'. After the fact, I only post here as 'Unlisted' so you can only see it if you see it here.

Please explain how you boost it?

It used to be buried in the set up options. In the version I have now, it's right on the main screen. (I am about 1 version out of date).

Use the mic/aux slider. If that is max, click the setup 'gear' icon and choose Advanced Audio Properties. Then use the up/down arrows on the Mic/Aux box to boost above 100%.

Did you find a good setting. If I max the slider it doesn't sound like IVC

Haven't tried it yet. Current setting for me is 91%. I'll see how it sounds tonight and adjust if needed.

Ok, I am at -20dB. Anything above that make my voice sound like it does on team speak....yes its sexy but not what I want.
