Hello all,
I'd like to request to join the wing.
I live in Seattle, WA. I have mostly complete sim pit, with Thrustmaster F/A-18 grip, TFRP Pedals (upgrading to TPR this week, Winwing Super Taurus Throttle and MIP, plus a variety of panels I've built myself. I use TrackIR. I've been playing DCS for a couple years, with 150-200 hours in the F18. My boarding rate is around 70%, and am able to reliably A/A refuel in day, though night refueling is a bit of a struggle for me.
My favorite thing about DCS is the teamwork of a well executed mission. Right now I mostly play on the Hoggit GAW/PGAW servers, but occasionally design missions for a couple friends and I. I really enjoy these ways of playing, but the Hoggit server doesn't have a lot of people who want to form up and work together, and my friends are fun to play with, but mostly just like to blow things up. I prefer the experience of complete flights with plenty of navigation, A/A refueling, and coming back to the boat, parking, shutting down. This wing seems to match my desired play style without the "Sir, Yessir" and rank issues that can turn a hobby into a job. I currently have Saturdays off reliably, thought that may switch to Wednesdays at some point.
I hope there's room for me here. I've watched some of your videos and it seems like you're a great team who focuses on being serious in just the right places.
